Hi, so I am a single claimant and applied for LCWRA in Feb’23. I have fit notes from feb-June 18th. My assessment was cancelled 4 times by the assessors. My last assessment was supposed to be on 19th June so I didn’t get another fit note. That was then cancelled again and I actually got a phone call on July 5th. I’ve been awarded LCWRA which is great but they’re only giving it to me from 17th July with first payment in November? Can anyone help me understand this. Have they discounted all my fit notes because I didn’t get the June one? It’s not my fault they kept cancelling it.
