Poem called strong winds 
Today I heard the strong wind blowing outside 
I hope you fine and safe from the strong winds 
it brings me great pain and tears to my eyes to see people’s properties and belongings destroyed by these high winds I  hope that the howling winds that have caused havoc across the United Kingdom shores 
I hope they calm down real soon that would feel over the moon.

    Great poem @Globster, I hope you were safe in the storm! Seems like the winds are dying down a bit now.

     I'm very glad you weren't affected much by the winds, they looked really nasty on the tv.

    That's good @Globster, nice that you were able to use it as inspiration for one of your poems.

    I'm doing well thank you, I'm quite lucky to live in part of the country where I wasn't affected much either. I'm just using it as an excuse to pop my favourite jumper on and get cosy inside!
