Hi my partner has Cerebral Palsy down left side of body and is struggling to hold and use PS5 controller due to it being on bigger side. He can use his left hand to use left analog stick on controller  but can’t play for long as hurts his hand.

He’s tried a one handed ps5 controller from evil controllers but that didn’t help wasn’t helpful to him and still struggled.

He finds Xbox controller a better size to hold - what do people suggest?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Ashley

Hey there @Ashcotts2407 and welcome to the community!

I'm just moving your post to our specialised CP section, where hopefully someone will be able to give you all the answers you need.  :)

Personally I much prefer PS5s for the games, but all the controllers are a tad unwieldy.

Hi @Ashcotts2407, if you look at the top of the page there will be a bit that says HOME > Cerebral Palsy. That shows what section of the community this discussion is in.

Can I ask if you've looked at the Xbox Adaptive Controller? It was made by Microsoft in partnerships with The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, The AbleGamers Charity, Warfighter Engaged and SpecialEffect. All charities that aim to help make gaming more accessible.

It is made for xbox's and PCs. Is it specifically a PS5 you need it for? I can look into it more if that's precisely what you need!

    Hello @Ashcotts2407
I would suggest contacting Special Effect. They do some great adaptions and even bespoke equipment.
