The rules for mixed aged couples are complicated. Are you claiming either Enhanced daily living PIP, Attendance Allowance, Adult disability Payment Enhanced daily living or DLA high rate care? If you are then you're automatically treated as having LCWRA.

Is your partner working or claiming a disability benefit theirself?
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

That means you're only treated as having LCW and will need a work capability assessment for LCWRA. Were you claiming benefits before you claimed UC? If so which ones exactly please?

Sorry but i'm confused. You mentioned you sent the UC50 form back 4 months ago. Is this a review? If so then yes this is normal because you don't automatically qualify for LCWRA.

It will be a review. I agree it doesn’t make sense because you’re state pension age but mixed a couples rules are different. If your PIP included Enhanced daily living then you wouldn’t need reviews.
