Universal credit - Joint claim

Hi everyone,
I hope everything is going well. I have a question regarding UC. I was claiming as a single parent beforehand, however recently I have shifted with my husband (who doesn't claim benefits). I have updated this on my UC account and they have asked me to make a joint claim.
My husband stayed in contact with us (since my child was involved), would spend 1/2 nights in our house for the child, and had most of his letters coming to our address. During this time he was staying at a friend's house that offered him a room (not rented).
My question is does this create any issue since most of his documents (from bank statements to other letters were coming to our address that he would pick up)? I am worried this might cause some misunderstanding/confusion when I make a joint claim.
I would appreciate it if someone could answer.
