I've received the forms for my review, I'm no good on the phone can I request a face to face? Do you request this on the form?

I would put the request in a letter posted with the form, something along the lines of "If an assessment is required can it please be face-to-face" I imagine. As assessments aren't always required if there has been no change in your circumstances. Citizen's Advice have an information page here about PIP review forms :) Hope this helps @Broreb1981

I've filled my review forms in. I've not just put no change but I've used the spaces to explain in brief how things affect me for ezample I need to be encouraged to eat when depressed or I would not eat or just eat crisps. The intense pain makes me feel sick and dizzy so I need someone to help me shower as I might fall but i also need to be encouraged to shower when depressed or I won't do it for days. Are these examples OK, it's more or less the same as I put on my last form because I didn't want to just put no change. I need to send it off today is there anything else I need to add or should I just send it

I would be cautious about "explaining in brief." What you've wrote above is not real life examples. A real life example is telling them exactly what happened the last time you attempted that descriptor.

Telling then you're unable to complete an activity because of something that "might" happen isn't going to help.

You mentioned intense pain but where is that pain, what does it feel like, why do you need assisstance to get into the shower/bath? why can't you use an aid?

I've reworded my form to include more information. Now I'm worrying what happens if I dont agree with their decision. Do I still get the amount I'm on now whilst going through an appeal or does the money stop? I've never been refused or had to appeal before but I always worry when it comes to a review

Any new decision made will overrule your current award. Once the decision is made if there’s an award in payment this will
continue while you request the MR.

Do you have to immediately give your mobility car back?

How long are reviews taking roughly? I only got my car last month because of the waiting times, would the dealers save it for me if I need to appeal?

Yes if you’re not awarded Enhanced mobility again. Unfortunately the dealer will not hold onto your vehicle if it’s returned.

If you challenge the decision and are awarded Enhanced mobility again then you can place another order for a new vehicle, providing you have at least 12 months remaining on your award.

For a lot of people reviews are taking quite a considerable length of time. We have members still waiting a year after returning their form.
