I finally got through on the phone and was told that as I’d changed my mind from a paper hearing to a telephone hearing that todays hearing was not listed on their end and my case was in the to be listed file and I’ll get at least two weeks notice of that hearing. So more waiting for me but I suppose I can then be better prepared .

That makes sense. I did think your hearing was rather quick because i remember that it's not that long ago that you requested it.

And there I am with my paperwork dotted all over the dining table and sleepless nights I didn’t know it was quick but I can’t wonder why it showed on my end on my
log in todays date and where too

I was going by your thread in September when you asked about appealing so assumed that it was around that time you requested it.

It could potentially be several months, sometimes longer before you have a hearing date. It’s certainly not a quick process.

I have no idea why it showed that information.

Hi guys I now have my appeal Monday afternoon and I’m so nervous it’s video/telephone call my daughter can’t be with me she’s got an important work meeting so no support on the day which I’m worried will make me look more capable. Also I’ve not looked at my paperwork in ages and although I’ve only appealed about the ability to travel on transport alone I’m worried they ll think it’s just a current change of circumstances although I did say as far back as 2016 that I was already not going out alone so with being able to travel to an u known destination on my own I just didn’t fight it at that time and to be honest I’m beginning to wish I’d just put it in now as a change in my needs.

Hi @gerrys6, good luck with your appeal! I know it can be really nerve wracking, but just try to relax. It would be a good idea to go through your paperwork and perhaps make some notes to have with you just in case you need to reference anything. I can understand why you might feel like you need your daughter with you, but all you can do is take it easy and just try to answer the questions as best you can. I'll be keeping everything crossed that it's a good result for you.

I hope it goes well, keep us updated!

Thank you I’m trying to go over the paperwork now but can only do it in a few minutes at a time as I can’t concentrate so planning and following the route of a journey unaided is that on public transport ? Thx Gerry
