Scope's friends at ACTION CEREBRAL PALSY is committed to facilitating the development of models of best practice for children and young people with cerebral palsy and their families. We are pleased to be participating in work being driven by NHS England Children and Young People Transformation Unit through a Task and Finish Group of leading cerebral palsy healthcare professionals, clinicians, therapists, health visitors and 3rd sector organisations. Can you help recruit parent/carers of children aged 0-10 who may wish to participate in this important engagement by sharing the information below?
Message from NHS England:
NHS England is leading on the development of a framework that will help commissioners to improve services for children and young people with cerebral palsy. We are at an early stage in our framework development and are working with organisations such as Action Cerebral Palsy, Scope and Whizz Kidz to ensure that the work we do captures the voices of children and young people with cerebral palsy and families/carers.
We are working in partnership with Action Cerebral Palsy to host this engagement event to learn more about the experiences of parents and carers of younger babies and children (0-10) who have cerebral palsy. We are looking to speak to a range of people with young children across the spectrum of need to come to a virtual session, and would like to hear about your experiences of navigating Cerebral Palsy services.
Our session will be run via Zoom on Thursday, 9th November from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. with up to 10 parents/carers.
If you would like to participate in this session, please contact Action Cerebral Palsy on: info@actioncp.org.
