Work Capability Assessment for ESA or Universal Credit.
I have one of these in two weeks this is the 3rd assessment I will have had, the 1st was in 2010 or something where I had no ESA 50 form to fill in.the second I was awarded zero points 2018 and took to tribunal in 2021 to get lcw - which I thought was wrong but at that time i was not diagnosed with severe sleep apnoea, mentally I was struggling and still am.
this will be the 3rd assessment you'd think id know what to expect.
however I think the mental problems caused by fatigue or distress and or severe sleep apnoea bad days are going to be a problem for me and the build up towards these days will worsen sleep patterns - can I expect the assessment to be postponed if I cannot continue on the day of assessment or part way through?
also I think I should have this assessment recorded to prevent any misdemeanours do I request this on the day?
I guess it I have to look at the descriptors and try and reason with them as to why I should have points, should I use there keywords like "mobilising", "standing", "sitting" and what are other useful keywords any suggestions are welcome
will they look at pip at all ?
thanks in advance

If you want the assessment to be recorded then you will need to contact the Health Assessment Advisory Service before the day of the assessment and ask for them to record it. Or you can record it yourself using a device of your choice but you need to tell them that you will be recording it.They don't always look at PIP awards when making decisions on the WCA.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hey @boriswho, citizen's advice have a good page on the ESA/WCA assessment here. About how to prepare for it, anything you need to bring (though your appointment is over the phone), available support and how to ask for it to be recorded.
I hope this helps! Good luck with itThey/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with
