Access to work grant.
I'm self employed and need a car to do my job. I need an automatic as a manual is too difficult for me to use. Would a grant pay for a car? I get basic rate mobility as part of my PIP or would use the enhanced rate for a mobility car.

It is very unlikely that access to work will give a grant for car. They would pay for things like transport such as buses or a taxi if you're unable to use public transport. https://www.gov.uk/access-to-workIf you have a manual car are you able to sell that and use the money from selling the car to buy and automatic?
