After taking on your feedback we have now put together all the terms and conditions for the Pumpkin Competition! 🎃

We will be using this thread for all of your competition entries. Cannot wait to see them, get posting below! 

Online Community Pumpkin Contest - Terms and Conditions

Eligibility:

The Online Community Pumpkin ("Contest") is open to all members of Scope online community who are 18 years old or older at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, volunteers and immediate family members of Scope are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter:

To enter the Contest, participants must:

  • Create and submit a photograph or image of a pumpkin that has been carved, painted, drawn, knitted, digitally created or otherwise creatively produced as part of a new comment in this designated contest discussion thread on Scope's online community. 
  • Include their online community username in the post.

Only one entry per participant is allowed.

Contest Period:

The Contest begins on 24/10/2023 and ends on 02/11/2023 at 6pm (GMT).

Prize:

The winner of the Contest will receive a £10 Amazon voucher.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.

Winner Selection:

The winner will be chosen by one of our Scope representatives based on the creativity and originality of their pumpkin carving.

The decision of said Scope representative is final and binding.

The winner will be announced on 03/11/2023 on Scope online community.

The winner will be contacted via private message or email to claim their prize.

Publicity:

By entering the Contest, participants grant Scope the right to use their submitted photographs for promotional purposes on Scope online community and Scope's website or social media channels.

Disqualification:

Scope reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions or violates Scope's community guidelines, terms and conditions or house rules.

Privacy:

Personal information collected for this Contest will be used only for the purpose of administering the Contest and will not be shared with third parties.

General Conditions:

Scope reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time without notice.

Scope is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries.

By participating in the Contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Governing Law:

These Terms of use will be governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to hear disputes about these Terms.

    As a Scope Employee I cannot take part, but I will be carving Pumpkins this year. Check out these ones I got in Morrisons! Think they were on steroids!  :D

    I also cannot take part, but I'm thinking of baking a pumpkin pie with maybe a pastry-top shaped like a pumpkin.

    You'll finally all see the brilliance of my creativity.

    Yes, that was sarcasm. When it comes to pastry-shaping I've the artistic skill of an inept newt.

    It wouldn't be fair for us to join in on this one, but maybe we'll have to have our own separate staff competition where the only prize is glory :D

    I haven't bought a pumpkin yet, I'll have to pick one up next time I'm out. Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
