Hello all,
My family members p.i.p is due to end in December 2024, I was just wondering what the review times are? Are they likely to be contacted December this year, a year before their claim is due to end or ,6 months before? I haven't been able to find the right answers for them and they are starting to stress out.
Many thanks
Daisy

Hi @Daisy1987 there's no set time-frame to it I'm afraid. It should be several months before your award is due to end. If they do not send the forms out in time your award should be automatically extended. This Citizen's Advice page has some information about it.
I'm sorry this isn't really an answer to your question, but I hope the information that they should automatically extend it if they have not reviewed your PIP relieves some of the stress.1 -
Assuming they were awarded by DWP and not a Tribunal. It's not going to be as early as 1 year before. Mine is due to end in June next year and i haven't been contacted yet. Quite possibly several months before.
