Christmas is coming.

The clocks go back….

 

Christmas is coming, the weather is getting cold

I know that its not long now, its blowing from the North.

Do you know its time to take a look, as the clocks go back an hour

You must remember to turn them back, and enjoy that other hour.

 

I wonder how many forgot to turn, back there clocks last night,

and turned up for work, the first time they were early , all that year

at an ungodly hour, the traffic was nowhere to be seen

I should have known then, some things wrong, a clear road ahead can be seen.

 

 OH dear, Oh dear, there’s no one here, the lights are still all off,

And no one’s altered the clocking machine, just to make matters worse.

I can’t sit here in the dark, I might as well make some tea,

And reflect, on if I stayed in bed and what it might have been.

 

  At last someone coming in I’m on my second cup

OH I can hear the hecklers, shouting, someone’s lost the plot.

What time did you get here, I bet it was stupid O’clock,

I said all right, I did forget to alter my clock.

 

The moral of the story is, you look an eager beaver at least once a year, but just have to remember to put it forward again in Spring……

The clocks are going back?

 

  The clocks go back tonight, and I need to benefit from this

So I’ve taken my tablets later to see if they persist

Do you still work an hour later, because the clocks go back

Or will I not remember and take a double lot?

 

  I’ve devised a plan to stop this going on

And laid out on the table, a grid from power point,

It’s got the time across the top, and going down the side

Its got the name of the tablet, with the number in that box to match time.

 

Now this looks all professional, If I do say so myself

You never know this could be the start of something from this time of year.

Hang on a minute, where do I start, to gain that extra hour

Do I start at 10 o’clock as I’ve taken those as well?

 

May be was not such a good thing, my head hurts right now

I’m going to bed right now and put my watch in reverse.

Don’t try to over think a simple little request

Just put your clocks back an hour and say GOOD NIGHT God Bless…….
