Hello,
I originally got in touch with AtW to ask if it was possible for them to fix a lift at work so I could go upstairs as I couldn’t use the 4 flights of stairs. I left that job about 6 weeks ago due to being bullied out of it really; more because of my mental health issues than physical. Anyways I am now working for the same company but in a different store; this store is much smaller and I am working on the days deliveries come. When I had the interview I told him about my back problems and he said I would be helping with the deliveries, I said that should be ok because I figured I could go at my own pace. It turns out there’s only 2 of us working when the deliveries come and the other day there were 10 cages of stock, including big crates of drinks. I can take the chocolate, sweets and toiletries out but can’t lift the drinks. We are also under time constraints as we have to get everything out the cages so the driver can take them back. I cannot do this and the lady I work with is also struggling. Is there anything AtW would be able to offer as help? Is it a ridiculous idea that they could get someone to come in for half an hour on my shifts to empty the cages? I have no idea, I like the job and the people and don’t want to just be sitting at home feeling sorry for myself.

Can anyone offer any thoughts or help?
Thank you in advance
