Good morning

I know that this is quite a new update as it was only published 8 days ago but I wonder if anyone can help me out with a quick question regarding this change.

I believe I am one of the people that will have been affected by this, I was granted two points under section 9(b) in 2019 (before the supreme court judgment) when based on my needs at the time I believe I should have been awarded four points (Section 9(c). I gained 11 points for daily overall so those additional two points would have made the difference between standard and enhanced for the last four year period.

I want to try and appeal this but the below update seems a bit contradictory. In one instance it says that they are reviewing all cases and they will get in touch with people periodically, but then further on down it says anyone who thinks they may have been affected by this should contact them directly.

My question is how do I do that, my first thought was mandatory reconsideration but this is something from 4 years ago and I know that's outside of the normal mandatory reconsideration time scales, so do I just contact them and tell them I wish to appeal under this Supreme Court decision, or do I just wait for them to contact me (which could take years looking at the current timescales). I understand it gets dealt with a team called LEAP, can I contact them directly or asked to be referred to them ?

Sorry, I do hope that all makes sense, but like I said I do now this is a very new publication.

Many thanks in advance
