Just rang for an update on my PIP Review & was asked to go in tomorrow for face to face assessment..

I sent in my PIP Review 10 months ago.  I had a text message from Independent Health Assessment Services about 5 weeks ago.  I called them today to see if an assessment appointment has been set up yet.  They said, "you are pending an assessment. Let me book you in for the next available appointment."  Then he asked me to go in tomorrow for a face to face.

I told him I need a phone assessment.  He asked why and I explained my illnesses seriously affect my mobility.  He said "OK" and has now booked me in for a phone assessment instead a few days later.

I was very surprised when he immediately asked for face to face as I thought the majority of assessments are no longer face to face.
