Going back to work?

Hey all, I was hoping for some opinions/guidance. I am a part-time university student and volunteer for two charities. I have been unable to work in a while, but lately, I feel restless and would like to get paid for the work I often do for free. I am considering looking for a role similar to my volunteer roles as I know I can manage them.
Is it normal to worry if it's too soon? I do have a habit of putting too much on my plate and my list of health issues isn't short. I know this is very subjective but I would greatly appreciate anyone's thoughts on this or if they have felt similar. Thank you.

Hey @elizabeth01 I hope you're managing to stay dry today?
I think it's totally normal to worry about it being too soon. Often in my own mind, its always too soon, which can lead to me missing out on life experiences. But if you can get paid for the roles you're already doing for free, it's worth a shot right?
Have you thought about Scopes Support to Work scheme? They're fab and really helpful. It could be worth you having a chat with them and see if they could offer some guidance?1 -

I really appreciate your response and you are so right it is worth a shot. I have signed up for the scheme and look forward to seeing where my career takes me.0 -
Glad it's not too bad, it's freezing here today, so I've busted out the bat slippers.
Best of luck with your journey, Scopes support to work is pretty amazing. Please keep us updated so we can be your cheerleaders.0
