I want to find out what is being done to enforce statutory laws surrounding equal opportunities, access and inclusion for people with disabilities. If businesses or organisations aren’t compliant is that not only ableist but a hate crime? Can they be penalised? After all if these places were non-compliant based on the colour of our skin they would be deemed racist and committing a race hate crime. So what’s the difference? Why aren’t we receiving the same momentum?
