Hi, my SSP has just ended, on the top pf that my employer didn't inform me upfront, so I got nice surprise on payday. I get UC, done calculation online, but it does not look like I would get more money. Anyone was in similar situation, where SSP came to the end, what happened to your UC, did it increase to some point or stayed the same?

How much UC you’re entitled to will depend on your circumstances. If you didn’t have the work allowance then now SSP has ended there will be no deductions for earnings if you’re claiming as a single person. How much your maximum UC entitlement will be will of course depend on your circumstances. If you’re a single person aged 25 and over and have no rent costs then your maximum UC entitlement will be £367.74/month. If your UC includes the LCWRA element then this will be an extra £390.06/month.0
