Where are you as you read this and decide whether you want to reply... At the moment I am sitting having a hot chocolate with my partner in a Museum in Azincourt France. Location of the Battle of Agincourt. It is small but interesting......
It is raining outside much like it was in 1415.....
That is where I am. What about you.

Ooh lovely @AndyGT, that sounds amazing!
I'm at my desk, in the UK, wearing fluffy bat slippers and sipping some warm water.
(Can I just make sure people don't post too much personal information about home locations etc. Safety first!)1 -
@woodbine I didn't know you lived around that area, it's a lovely part of the country. We will be staying in Bakewell for 4 nights, so 3 full days. Heading to a different Christmas market each day. I think we are doing Bakewell itself, and also Chatsworth, and Manchester.

No worries. I don't want to stop anyone having some fun, but we do take your safety very seriously.

I love History and am over here for my Birthday. It is a shame that there weren't more people there but I guess it is far out of season. Tomorrow it is likely to be Arras or maybe Pachendale and somewhere memorable for remembrance day on Sunday.
I do apologise if anyone felt uncomfortable with the question where are you reading this? I didn't want to know your address, just were you likewise in a Museum? Shop? Library (if they still exist?) Or sitting at a desk in fluffy bat slippers. It was not my intention for anyone to feel uncomfortable as it us quite right and essential to have safety first....

Please don't worry @AndyGT, I really like the post idea. I just had to make sure people knew not to post their addresses or anything.

I love the sound of rain on the windows / roof when I am laying in bed wrapped up in a duvet. For sone reason life seems ok.

I used to like having the window open when it rains however I only recently realised the spiders come inside to take shelter when it's raining outside, so I can't take my mind off the idea that they are crawling in through the window

@AndyGT I thought your post was really nice and I know you didn't mean to compromise anyone's security by asking where they are! I am currently sat at my laptop in my home office feeling blue over something that is totally daft. Hope you had a nice birthday, Steve.2

Today I visited the Canadian Memorial at Vimy Ridge. Other than some buildings possibly one of the most amazing pieces or architecture/ memorial I have ever, ever seen. It was surrounded by bomb craters and the reminents of various trench systems. It is somewhere people should visit so we never forget. The memorial stood out in a landscape that it belonged.....3
