Hi my partner has stage 4 copd and I'm his main carer he's got daily struggles with most things due to severe breathlessness and panic attacks due to unable to breathe. We applied for pip beginning of this year he was awarded july standard mobility and 4 points for living did a mandatory reconsideration July as I dont agree with any of the stuff that was said as he only walks to the kitchen which is about 3 meters and is severely out of breathe he's unable to go out on his own but none of this was mentioned even tho we told them. Today he had a unexpected phone call off dwp going over a few of the the questions that we filled in call lasted about 20 mins and said he will get a decision in post. Now I'm worried he's going to be turned down again.

Is this the MR decision or did you request the Tribunal?

Success rate of the MR is 23% so quite low but we have had some members that had the decision changed at this stage. Once you know what that decision is if you're not happy you can proceed to Tribunal.
