National Insurance (NI) Class 3 Credits

Hi, I've read online that when you claim Universal Credit you get National Insurance (NI) Class 3 Credits automatically, I had a look on my government gateway and saw even though I've had Universal Credit for a year there's not been any NI credits added. I'm not sure how it works really. Do they only add the credits automatically once you've had a full financial year of UC? As my claim started September 2022, so for the 2022/23 financial year it would've only been 7 or so months worth of credits. I would've thought that I'd get credits added for at least 30 weeks or something, but there's been nothing, so if anyone knows how it works I'd be grateful for any information!

There was a well known issue with some people claiming UC and their NI credits. I don't know if this is still ongoing but it was a few months ago. See link. https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/pensions/article-11701705/Shock-cover-state-pension-failures-Universal-Credit-claimants-exposed.htmlAre you close to state pension age? if you're not then i wouldn't worry too much about it yet. There's also a thread here on Rightsnet that talks about this. https://www.rightsnet.org.uk/forums/viewthread/17920/
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
I had this happen to me for 3 years, I had to print out my payments from universal credit and I sent them to DWP and HMRC. They then manually added my years
