The care agency that I am with now has said I haven't got the right to say that I do not have male carers looking after me the CQC has started I have the right to do so the care agency I am with now has told me that I don't have the right to request all female caregivers. However, the CQC states that I do have this right.
There is a valid reason why I don't want males although I am a male myself, unfortunately, I don't feel this. Although I am a male myself, I have a valid personal reason for not wanting male caregivers, which I prefer not to discuss here.
I have also been trying to get continuity from this agency and after four months I still haven't gotten continuity the other care agencies I have been with put this in place within two weeks because they knew how important it was for health and mental, I suffer from Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and depression. The situation I am in now is making me feel worthless and I am asking what is the point of living have

Hi @martie1118
The care company must give you a reason for denying your request, especially when you have a reason for not wanting a male carer. Have you provided the care company with this reason?Scope
