Wet Room

Hi everyone!
Well after waiting a good few months it’s finally time to have the Wet Room installed in our new Bungalow!!!
Got a call on Friday saying that they will be starting Monday which is quite exciting and quite daunting at the same time.
They surveyor came out last month and let me pick the flooring and wall panels but assumed it would take a lot longer for work to actually begin.
They said it will take around a week to a week and half as they are fitting an entirely new bathroom(sink, toilet etc etc) while they do the wet room.
Just wanted to ask if anyone has been through this and could tell me a little about what happens so I know what to expect?

i had a wet room installed in 2020, i will try and remember as much as i can, the people i had were very professional and it took just over a week to do, there was one night that they had to put down some special flooring and couldn't use the bathroom, so had to use the neighbours toilet. they will move the sink and toilet so they can put down floor etc. Just make sure you clear everything out of the bathroom before work begins, take things of walls, my bathroom was repainted aswell (had to supply the paint), the pump for the shower can be quite noisy and this year had to be changed as it broke.
i hope this answers your question0 -

Took just over 2 weeks but they did an amazing job!
The walls are all white marble with black/grey highlights, it looks absolutely amazing! They added quite a few nice features like an electric shower chair, heated toilet, heated tower rail, rainfall shower and some other goodies0 -
thats great and obviously you are really pleased with the result, i know i was. Heated toilet sounds amazing0

It has a few buttons that do different things, one heats the tank(stops condensation), you can also heat the seat, one of the buttons shoots your bum with water(bidet setting).
The shower is absolutely amazing, it has 12 settings but I like rainfall the most0 -
Sounds lovely! Wish I had a toilet like that. I'm a little jealous0
