Should I contact dwp ?

Good morning all, sorry to bother you all again but I had a dwp decision maker call me out of the blue yesterday regarding my pip review.....they told me I don't need an assessment and just needed to ask a few questions. The lady was polite but 'to the point' and it was all over with very quickly ?
She said I should receive a letter with a week or so.
Of course I am now riddled with worry about the outcome, is it worth me ringing the DWP. Will they tell me the result of this 'paper based review' ? Or should I just await the letter ?
Any advice or answer will be so much appreciated.
Many thanks

You can ring them to ask if the decision is made and if it has and they can see it they will tell you. Please also be aware that it can take up to 24 hours for them to see the decision on the system.0

Hi there my aunt had her pip assessment 3 weeks ago, capita rang last week and I missed the call, I rang straight back and was told that her assessment was sent for audit and that when they looked her file it said pending adjustment can anyone tell me what this means she is worried sick as no one has phoned her back yet. Many thanks x0

Hi zakky..your aunt should give them a call for an update if she's concerned.

Hi poppy ..just an update..I just got through to dwp. They told me a letter is on the way and I've been awarded enhanced for both D L and Mobility, the award is for 3 years . I'm beyond relieved as I have deteriorated so much this year and having to appeal would have been extremely difficult on top of my severe illness.
Thankyou so much for all of the help. X1 -
