Medically undiagnosed symptoms

I’m in the middle of claiming pip rejected at the first hurdle and now at MR.
I’ve been very poorly with pain and life restricting symptoms for just over 3 years. I’m still being tested for different things and see new consultants on seemingly a regular basis.
Has anyone any experience with claiming pip with no diagnosis? Proof is difficult as it’s just my word but I was under the impression pip is simply about the 12 questions.

PIP is not about a diagnosis. It's how those conditions affect you against the 12 PIP activities. Yes, it's about meeting the descriptors to score enough of points needed for an award. If you don't meet the descriptors, you won't score the points. Many people claim PIP without a diagnosis. My daughter was one of them back in 2017 and she was awarded Enhanced for both parts, with no issues. She had her diagnosis just under a year after i first claimed for her. When you requested the MR did you give a couple of real world examples as advised in your previous thread? I'm assuming that you also put that request in writing, rather than ring to request?

Thanks for the response. That’s good to hear a real world example and I hope your daughter is doing ok.Yes I gave real world examples of how it affects me in all parts of the 12 questions that were relevant. It was done by letter attached to the form sent in the post.0
