Hi all I’m new here and just after some info or help! I started handing sick notes to the job centre in February after my assessment I was awarded LCW in May during the decision period my health deteriorated so when I actually received my decision I instantly asked for my decision to be looked at again! Fast forward to recently and my LCW decision was changed to LCWRA! My query is would I be entitled to any back pay! Thanks I’m advance.

More information is needed before i can advise. What date exactly did you report your health condition/send your first fit note?

What dates do your assessment periods cover or what date do you usually receive your money each month?
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Towards the end of Feb doesn't really help. If it was after 21st Feb then your waiting period will be as follows.

March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 21st June to 20th July and first payment will be 27th July.

Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money.

Sorry that was a bit vague, but I can’t remember the exact date I think it was around the 27th

You can always check exact dates by going through your journal. Although it does really matter anyway if it was after 21st Feb because it needs to be 3 full assessment periods. If you report it part way through then that month doesn't count.

Hey there @nannyof2 and welcome to the community! Congrats on the LCWRA.

I can see Poppy is already helping, but I just wanted to give you a little welcome. :)
