If it was your first work capability assessment then there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time for the extra money. It's then paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/provided your first fit note. It's then paid at the end of the 4th month.Your first payment will be either Oct or Nov. The exact date will depend what date you usually receive your money each month.0

I had my first LWCRA payment on the 17th November. Will I get backdated payment from my first sick note which was June 7th. Thanks for your help0

Your waiting period will be June/July, July/Aug, Aug/Sept... LCWRA starts from 11th Sept to 10th Oct and first payment will be 17th October. Therefore they owe you 1 months LCWRA element based on the information you gave.Money owed will be paid separately to you usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.0

Hi @Ganer and welcome to the community! How are you today?
I can see you're already receiving help from our regulars, but I'm just popping your post in the Universal Credit category, so more people will be able to see it.0
