Hi everyone
i have recently plucked up the courage to start travelling, locally at the moment, in my wheelchair. What are your experiences with Uber.  My friend suggested it rather than conventional taxis but I have no idea of whether they are very ‘wheelchair friendly’.  Any experience anyone has had would help me.

Thank you.

Hey there @lemonwatermelon95, it's great to hear you're ready to get out there and explore, I'm excited for you!
Uber do special "Uber assist" rides now, which are disability and wheelchair friendly and have been great for me and friends so far.  I'm not sure if they've rolled them out nationwide yet, but most areas should have them now.

@Albus_Scope. That’s good to hear!  Do you find them on the Uber app or is there another app for assist?

They're on the usual Uber app,  when you choose which sort of Uber you want for your ride. So all nice and simple @lemonwatermelon95 :)
