Work and epilepsy

Hi,
I'm wondering if you all have any suggestions of any jobs that actually hire people with epilepsy? I have recurrent clusters of seizures regularly with maybe a weeks worth of 'good days' a month and have just qualified for LCW meaning I have to do 'Work Related Activity' to prepare for going back into work in the future.
I was self-employed for years and actively working until February, could choose my own hours and it worked well but im way too exhausted and unwell to run a business right now. Universal Credit only give you a year to get your earnings up to their threshold on self-employed (like a start up year or something), which came to an end in August (I wasnt working and had recurring sick notes) so if I went self-employed again I would have to be earning a full wage straight away for it to even matter ie no tax credit equivalent as self-employed on Universal Credit. So the only way I could ever see myself contributing to our household finances would be to get a part time job but where? Where will employ me for one sporadic week a month? I can't go too far because im signed off driving and need somebody to travel on public transport with me. My other half cant work full time because he's looking after me a lot of the time and one full time wage would work out less than UC anyway (even though we're on a shoe string as is!)
It feels stupid asking this as im not safe to go to a job but LCW expects me to prepare for work and without the little bit of extra money from LCWRA that I apparently don't qualify for we're drowning over here and fast.
Appreciated!

Hi @Homesteady, sorry you haven't had any responses to this so far. How are you getting on?

Scope have some Employment Services that might be helpful to you if you did want to look into getting work, but have you thought about challenging the decision not to put you on LCWRA? Might be something to look into if you know you'd really struggle with a typical working pattern.
