Hi everyone. I am new here and am really pleased to find a Community to be a part of. I help look after my 4 year old grandson. We have just been advised that his has been given an ehcp but they have recommend mainstream schooling. Both myself and my daughter, alongside the psychologist report, believe he needs a specialist placement. Could anyone advise if this is set in stone or can we still choose his placement? Thank you so very much for any advice you can offer

Just to add he is not in any setting right now as he has been undergoing chemo for the last year after 3 spinal surgeries the year before and mostly in hospital for that time0

If the plan is still at draft stage, you can still make/ask for changes. If you have already had the final copy, you have basically agreed to Mainstream. However you can still appeal.
Who applied for the EHCP? And where you aware?0 -
Hey @Trezzyj and a late welcome to the community from me.
I just wanted to check in and see how you were getting on now? Sometimes posts get lost at busy times, so I thought I'd say hi and get your post back to the top of the queue.0
