hello
I would be very grateful if someone could help me as I’m very conflicted .
I would be very grateful if someone could help me as I’m very conflicted .
I recently was signed off work for 6 months from a job I have been in for 14 years due to my recent diagnosis of fibromyalgia and depression and anxiety .
I applied for lcwra and was successful in my claim .
I have been given the opportunity with great support from my employer to return to work on a part time basis with adaptations in my job as I can no longer work my full time hours due to the effects my illness have on me .
I’m worried that if I return I will lose my lcwra award and have to go full time again to survive which I no longer could do .
I’m worried that the information given to be successful for lcwra will be conflicting and my benefit taken away from me .
A big part of my illness is anxiety and depression , fatigue and muscular problems .
My employer has said they will support me and offer more flexibility and lighter duties .
Please any advice would be grateful .

There are people that work when found to have LCWRA. There’s no maximum amount of hours you can work. You are correct in saying that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you were found to have LCWRA then it can go against you at your next review. Only you can decide what you want to do.
If you do start working you must report a change of circumstances in your journal and tell them you’re working.1
