Thank you Rosie, Our daughter has gone from having PIP awarded for 11 years to being given 0 points. We don't feel the mandatory consideration was listened to. Also the face to face assessment was totally untrue in all aspects of the report. It even said she doesn't have a musculosketal conditon! She has CP which is a neurological condition. Any advice on how to manage the  tribunal process would be very welcome. Thank you

Hi @TinaChurch, sorry you and your daughter went through that, it doesn't sound like you were listened to at all. I've moved your post over to our PIP boards where some more of our lovely members can find your post and share their experiences and advice.

Tribunals can be very different to the rest of the PIP process and often people will have a better result, so I hope it goes that way for you too. Is there anything in particular you're worried about?

If you feel like you might need some extra support or advice, you could also try looking for a benefits advisor on Advice Local or Turn2Us - AdviceFinder.

Firstly, the success at Tribunal's is 73%, compared with 23% at the Mandatory Reconsideration stage. They will be interested in 'real world examples' of how your daughter deals with PIP activities. So you are going through the activates, giving examples. Try not to concentrate too much on the in person assessment or the MR, it's easy to get 'sucked' into the 'unfairness' of it all. Your objective is to get the PIP Award your daughter is entitled too.

Have you sent of the Appeal form?
