Anyone know great places for after school activities for autistic children aged 6+ for gymnastics (don't say Catleap), swimming (don't say Becontree leisure centre), learning how to ride a bike??

Hey there @ogeychi and welcome to the community. How're you today?

I just wanted to stop in and say hi and let you know I've moved your post to a different category and renamed it, so more people in the know will be able to offer some advice.

If you fancied just chatting and getting to know people, our
Coffee Lounge category is great if you wanted somewhere to wait before you get some answers.

    Hey Ogeychi,

Really nice to see your first post on the community. While I can’t help in terms of gymnastics or swimming. It may help for these to know a general location so people with local knowledge could advise. I have a daughter with autism and we have found that badgers (5-9 year olds) have been a great benefit for her with St John Ambulance. She has been with them now for nearly three years and about to move upto cadets. But I imagine the other groups are good as well (brownies, girl guides, scouts etc.)

Hey Ogeychi, what about thinking outside the box of ideas and looking more towards outdoor pursuits or traditional skills etc

Try searching online for a directory called Outlearn, an outdoor activities UK guide, you should find a club or a centre that'll help you in your area.
