I applied for pip back in march.. June I was denied I applied for a mandatory reconsideration same month with a long letter plus a further 2 letters... November 20th message stating you've asked up to look at our recent decision ect received a letter stating same thing... On Monday I received a call from the DM about my claim stating she hasn't looked at it yet but asked questions of hospital stays jail ect then asked if I was to be awarded would I manage a lump sum.. I replied yeah she asked if had support at home I said my partner supports me with things like that also I was very emotional on the phone again as it's hard talking about my health and my anxiety over the phone...im so worried im going to be denied again i dont want to get my hopes up

Hey @kat0611 and welcome to the community. I hope you're doing ok?
I can totally understand the issues with talking on the phone due to anxiety, I'm exactly the same. The questions they've asked are all fairly standard questions, so please don't worry too much. But I'm keeping everything crossed for you.
Will you please keep us updated? We're all here to offer support and guidance if you need it.0 -
Yes I will... I just think that asking certain questions to maybe denying the person again would be unfair kind of thing was my 1st time applying..0
