Afternoon, so yesterday I received an ESA 50 forum. it was my understanding that DWP currently have massive backlogs and are only dealing with some cases. I have been on ESA since 2011 my last review was around June of 2022 on a telephone assessment. does anyone know the typical timescale between returning the forum and the assessment in Cornwall ? I am in the work related activity group is that's of any help.

Hey there @kubit and a very late welcome to the community! I hope you're doing ok today?
I'm afraid I don't know the typical timescale for assessments, it can vary hugely depending on workloads etc. Hopefully one of our lovely regulars may be able to give a more informed answer?Albus (he/him)

I read on the Rightsnet website yesterday there is a pretty quick turn around in Launceston. From form to decision. That was a recent discussion.
That was a new application though so not a reassessment -

That will be why it was quicker. First WCA can sometimes be very quick.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

I haven't had anything back from DWP as of yet tomorrow will be a month since the dead line date for returning the ESA50. Still pretty surprised that they got back round to me as quick as they did given the backlogs.
