I am self employed and unable to work at the moment due to having a mini stroke I have no other income and need to know if I can claim anything

I applied for pips last year and was rejected I have a few disability’s but they said I wouldn’t get it

Hey there @mjp1964 and welcome to the community, I'm sorry to hear about your issues with working.

You can reapply for PIP again or even ask for a mandatory reconsideration if it's been less than 13 months since you applied? The DWP makes it tricky for people to claim PIP if they don't know how to fill in the forms correctly.  But we are all here to support you if you felt up to applying again? 

You will also be able to claim Universal credit. Which is a lot easier to claim thankfully.

Perhaps a typo. That should read within 13 months.
