Hi @Oscar1234 - there are 2 sections for the mobility component, one relating to just physical problems, & the other more to do with mental health issues. I think you may have got 10 points for the latter:
    d. Cannot follow the route of an unfamiliar journey without another person, assistance dog or orientation aid. 10 points.
    e. Cannot undertake any journey because it would cause overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant. 10 points.
So for either d. or e. (unless you had some points for this as well as having physical problems).
If you did get 10 points for either d. or e., most likely e., then you can't get 12 points for
    f. Cannot follow the route of a familiar journey without another person, an assistance dog or an orientation aid. 12 points
if you're unable to go out, which it sounds like. If this is the case, then the mobility component can't be increased to get the enhanced rate.
Not knowing exactly how you're affected looking at the daily living component, sorry, I don't know if you could get the enhanced rate for this.
There's absolutely no harm in asking for another decision maker to look at everything again; this is called a Mandatory Reconsideration. It's incredibly rare for this to lower your current award, & you'd still get paid your PIP whilst this is looked at. If you do this, please put it in writing rather than ringing up.
