How often do you check the weather?

Just a random question
Also wondering what sources people tend to use?
No particular reason for asking other than curiosity
I use the Weather app that comes on my phone and check maybe once a day but family members have multiple apps and are checking them every hour sometimes

I usually check once a day looking at the Met Office's website on my desktop computer, which I have bookmarked. I do get notifications on my phone; today it's a yellow warning for ice & snow, which I had to check, as i barely glance at these.

I check it about once a day, usually using the app on my phone. Mostly to get an idea of what to dress my kids in!1

I hate wearing short sleeves or any clothes that don't cover the body de to my issues and I remember as a kid ... under 17 degrees meant I could wear a long sleeve ... over 17 I had to wear a short sleeve shirt ... I used to hold the thermometer out the window and do other stuff to try to cool it down then show my parents "look it's under 17"Adrian_Scope said:I check it about once a day, usually using the app on my phone. Tough job. I know someone who is in their 90s who's father was a cowman, so probably late 1800s early 1900s. He had to milk them every single day without fail including Sunday, except Christmas Day. If he wanted a day off he had to pay someone else to do it out of his own money. I'm a bit of a geek with the weather I read all the weather report geo maps where the weather fronts are going and the weather live maps and predictions0

3 / 4 times a day, bbc website. I'm finding that some days, it's way off.
The more info they have, the less accurate it becomes.0 -
I check the Met Office repeatedly, love it! I have to avoid wind and extreme heat but I'm happier outdoors so it helps me plan in all weathers

The freakiest weather happened some years ago, it wasn't bad it was strange in a 15 minute spell.
It rained, sun came out, it rained, sun came out, it rained, sun came out etc. That kept on going on for 15 minutes.
Really bizarre.0 -
I check on a say I am going out. I use an app on my phone. I do something check the weather out ahead of time. At the moment I've been on the lookout for snow!0

I'm the same @wendy41, these days I just look out of the window. Or on the rare occasion I'm planning to leave the house, I may check google the night before.0

i look out the window to see what the weather is doing0

I used to constantly check the weather app when I was working outside. Now I usually still check in the morning but I don't pay as much attention.
I have the met office app, the BBC weather app and the AccuWeather app on my phone. Each has its strengths and weaknesses.
I miss being outside all the time:(I liked my time being regulated by nature.1 -
I used to always watch the weather forecast after the news. But don't bother now as I'm housebound. So what it's doing the other side of my living room window doesn't really affect me😁0

I check most days on my phone, it gives me hour by hour and I will make my plans around the weather you could say.0
