Does it mean you just block notifications coming into your email or does it mean you can block someone from commenting?

    You can't stop other users commenting, but it will mean you can no longer see their comments. You will still see any discussions they post, but comments on discussions will be hidden.

    Ok it doesn't mean I can block someone which I was hoping

    I find putting someone on your ignore list to be rather pointless. You can still see they commented on a thread but it's just blanked out. You can then click on that "blank" box and be able to read their comment, rather pointless putting anyone on your ignore list for this very reason.

    This is the only forum i've ever known that does it this way. It needs to be changed!
