Hello , I am disabled recieving pip and recently in receipt of the LCWRA part of UC on top of a separate amount of standard UC. My partner is working and has debt and is currently under an IVA, I have previously set aside most of my pip under adult care which the iva accepted, while paying a token amount towards house finances. Now we are also receiving LCWRA on top of our usual UC amount, can the IVA take it away, even if its my partners debt and not mine? I really could use the LCWRA component to increase my standard of living, like hiring a support worker, increasing capabilities of mobility/vehicle etc. Can anyone please tell me where I stand? Can I also write of the LCWRA part as adult care costs aswell?
