Hi Everyone I'm new on here. I would appreciate some help. Earlier this year I was awarded Lcwra but due to staying at home it started to have an impact on my mental health. I was very lucky to find a little job in a care home but unfortunately it hasn't turned out to be as suitable as I thought and has actually made me worse. Can I just stop working or do I need to get fit notes again?
Thank you.
Thank you.

LCWRA is part of UC. Are you still claiming UC? if not when did that stop exactly? If you're still claiming UC with the LCWRA element then you can just stop working without any sanctions to your UC.0

Yes still getting uc. Are you sure I can just stop? Do I need to let uc know via journal?0

Yes, you will need to report the changes and tell them you're no longer working. It won't affect your UC in a bad way because you've already been found to have LCWRA so no fit notes are needed. Of course will be receive less money in total each month because there will be no earnings.

Hi @sue15, welcome to the Scope online community! I'm sorry to hear the job didn't work out for you, but it's good that you realised it was putting you in a worse position and stopped. I've seen people keep trying to push on and put themselves in a much worse position, hopefully you'll now have some time to recouperate.
Poppy has already answered your questions on UC already, but do let us know if you have any other issues!0
