No i never had a money more than 6k any time because i am spending its showing on the statements. But this 11k is not savings or anything
I'm confused. You said you transferred £11k to your bank account but then said you never had more than £6k at anytime. If the £11k wasn't savings, then what exactly was it?

For UC what counts is what you have in total on the last day of each assessment period. If you had £11k in your bank at some point then yes they will likely ask questions about this.

A loan is still treated as capital. Using your credit card to pay for items is completely different.

You just need to be honest and tell them what happened. They will see the money you had in your statements anyway if it was within the 4 month period they are asking for.

If you had more than £6,000 at anytime on the last day of your assessment period then you should have reported the changes. If there’s an overpayment it will need to be repaid back.

For every £250 or part thereof over £6,000 there’s a £4.35/month deduction in your UC.

Two million of these checks are being undertaken, UC claims sit at around 5 million so while the plan doesn't cover asking everyone, it'll be a fair percentage.

No one knows whether or not your claim will be selected, if it is then a message will be put onto your Journal and you will have to provide what they ask for. The most commonly requested things are ID and 4 months of bank statements.

I see I replied to you last month, I think the gov.uk page is new, but other than that the previous answers still apply.

    Hi there,

I’ve read the entire thread and I’ve seen some common themes:

    • Clear Pay or Lay Buy
    • Klarna
    • Studio or Very
    • Credit Cards
    • Personal Loans
    • Online Purchases

The only thing I am concerned about is that my Dad sent me £100 for my birthday. Which went towards bills anyway.

There is no other income apart from UC.

I wanted some help too on this subject and wanted to know if I'm panicking over nothing as I do worry a lot over small things

I have supplied them with the 4 months statements

I only receive uc child benefit lwca and pip no other income

I received a big back payment of 5000 that was spent within the week of receiving it on new furniture and aids for my mobility along with food shopping and bills non of it was saved

I have a space attached to my bank account it's not a savings account and there's 0.00 in there I use this space to send my uc payments to as I worry about having money taken from me from bills or fraud as my account was hacked before by a gambling company (never used or been gambling) and got my funds back

The only two people that gift my bank account are my farther and the children's farther this is so that the children do not go without food if I'm low or school trips, school uniform birthdays and Xmas I also send small payments to my children's farther as his kind enough to attend the shops for me once in a blue moon due to my disabilities

All my bills and food shopping and household splurges are done online and I'm not worried about the amount of temu and tesco asda etc is on there as I known they can't stop me or question me on my spending they have been informed of all of this above on my journal so there's written proof and my phone appointment is this Friday

I receive the same amount of funds each month from uc on the 31st and my incoming and out goings are pretty much the same each month as I'm pretty stuck in my ways and like routine

Do I have anything to worry about?

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

They do often often ask questions about your spending, I was asked about transactions which were for utilities, credit card, window cleaner.

Was the lump sum for a benefit back payment?

Those payments are disregarded for 12 months anyway so you wouldn't be in deprivation of capital territory.
