How did you come to that conclusion?Dave1993 said:But the other option is "Be homeless"0 -
Hi @Dave1993, welcome to the community. You're not alone in feeling upset about these changes. I know it's hard, but please try not to worry about being forced to work.
Planned changes to the Work Capability Assessment won't come in until 2025, and will only affect new claimants at first. If you're on Universal Credit, no one in the Limited Capability for Work Related Activity (LCWRA) or Limited Capability for Work (LCW) groups will face benefit sanctions, and any work support will be voluntary.
You can read Scope's response to the Autumn Statement for some more information on what's being talked about lately, and we are here to help if you have any questions or need any extra support

i am on ESA support group (they offered me server disability premium) but because i live with someone i was not entitled to it if i was living on my own i could have got it0

They're only focusing on Universal Credit @Dave1993, so please try not to worry too much.0

Whether there's any entitlement will depend on who you're living with. You need to be living alone or treated as living alone. If living with other adults they must either be registered blind or claiming a qualifying disability benefit theirself, such as PIP daily living, DLA mid/high rate care, ADP daily living or AA.0

I don’t think anyone is accusing you of lying. What most likely happened is they wanted to check to see if there was any entitlement. (Rather than “offering” it to you) They won’t know this without first asking you some questions about who you live with.0
