I can't tell you why she advised you this. Highly likely because you didn't verify your bank account until 2 days ago then this will be why you haven't received it. If payment was sent to your other bank account and it's now closed you will need to wait for the payment to be returned to DWP before they will release another payment. If you have access to a journal then you should put a message on there under the payment section and tell them that you didn't receive your payment1

Heya @Lew666 and welcome to the community. How're you today?
I can see you're already getting support from our regulars, but I just wanted to stop by and give you a warm welcome. If you wanted to hang out or play some games, I recommend our Coffee lounge and new games area.0 -
Hi so a update UC have confirmed it has been sent to my new account that was verified I still havnt received the payment could this just be a late payment as they verified it day before my payday0
-
It's clearly a late payment because your payment date is usually 8th of every month. It's late because you didn't verify your account until the 7th.

Do you know what day I should hopefully receive my payment0
-
Hopefully by the end of the week. It takes 3-5 working days for money to go into your bank once payment was sent. It will depend on what day is was sent.
