PIP Mobility Question.

Hello everybody.
Over 12 months ago I had an incident that resulted in me hurting my back walking out in public which has had an effect on my mobility to present day. I have x-rays to prove that I did injure my back which lead to a fracture. One of my disabilities leaves me open to further injury when walking. Would it be worth including the incident into my PIP form in the mobility section even though the incident was over 12 months ago and the DWP only take into account accidents that happened within the last three months.
Thank You.

The don’t just include accidents that happened 3 months ago. You’ve misunderstood it. For PIP you must have had the difficulties for at least 3 months, which clearly you have. It’s always advisable to include all your health conditions and explain fully exactly how they affect you when filling out the forms, whether it’s a new claim or a review of an existing claim.
Please made sure you also include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you.1 -

Thanks for clearing that up for me, I will take note of your advice. I wasn't 100% sure whether I was correct or not.
Thank you.0
