Hi, my name is Hayley12345! Is it normal to get a second phone call from PIP?

Hello,
I had my PIP assessment on 06/12/2023 and then received a call off no caller ID stating they were from PIP and wanted to clarify some information i asked if it could be a scheduled appointment because I struggle with impromptu things which the lady said she would and had a second call that last about 10 minutes has anyone else had this? my original assessment was 1 hour 45 minutes so I was shocked that they needed more information.

Sometimes they do ring again after the assessment if they have any further questions to ask.1

Hi @Hayley12345, welcome to the community, hope you're doing well today.
I think Poppy's already answered your question, but I'll pop your post over to our PIP section in case you have any more. Just wanted to say hello and welcome! Good luck with your phone call1 -
This happened to me last week, and it sent my anxiety into overdrive. In the end, it wasn’t too bad. The original assessor just wanted to clarify a couple of things because the DWP had pinged the report back to IAS as there was “missing evidence”.For me, that meant they wanted to know more about my anxiety, including when the last time I went out on my own was (I couldn’t remember in my original assessment) and if I’d discussed it with my GP. There was a “gotcha” question about when the last time I went on holiday was as well. I don’t think the HP was expecting me to say in 2011.1

It wasn't as bad as I thought they just asked about my movement on a bad day and things about when I last took my children to school which I haven't in nearly a year now. I have rheumatoid in my spine and pelvis so really struggle with movement! I've tried to be as honest as possible hopefully i'll hear something soon
thanks for your help
