The job of minister for disabled people has been downgraded, with the new holder of the position staying at the most junior level in government.

Mims Davies has taken on the role within the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), but remains a parliamentary under secretary of state.

Predecessor Tom Pursglove was a minister of state when he held the job.

Earlier, No 10 denied the role was being downgraded as charities called for a new minister to be brought in.

Downing Street said the post, left vacant when Mr Pursglove was made minister for legal migration last week, would be filled by an existing member of the government with other duties.

Typical - the government doesn't deem the disabled important enough to warrant a full minister!!

But the good news is that at some point this year we will have not a new minister but a new government.  :)

We won't know if they will or not unless they're given a chance.

Sorry, but they've all been given chance after chance and every time - they let us down
How many chances are we supposed to give them ?

Saying they've all been given a chance isn't really fair though is it?  The other parties are not exactly the same as when they were last in power are they?

If voting for one particular group of almost tories prevents the actual tories from snatching food out of poor peoples mouths, or diluting industrial and construction regulations until we’re all eating asbestos-frosted biscuits next to the smouldering remains of a fracking site, that’s good enough for me.

But whatever party gets in - based on promises to make things better, will be broken within 12 months.
You know it and I know it
The worst thing is that people for it over and over again just like brexit.
