Hi guys got my decision it was a no but I rang straight away and appealed the decision I've got a letter here in going to send to from my professor of neurology who I'm under for the rest of my life let's hope they say yes this time

    If this is the Mandatory Reconsideration you've requested then i'd advise you to put that request in writing. We don't usually advise you to ring to request it because if you do this and then send any extra evidence they may not wait for that evidence before making a decision.

    In the letter you should state where and why you think you should have scored those points. When you filled out the form if you didn't give a couple or real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you then you should also do that now. Include detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.

    The most likely outcome of the MR will be the decision remains the same. You can then proceed to Tribunal but the more effort you make for the MR stage will mean less effort for the Tribunal.

     Please remember it's less about letters from specialists and more about you answering with real life reasons as to why your health conditions affect each of the descriptors for PIP.
