Hi does anyone know if my wife has to tell UV or pip that she's got breast cancer ?

I'm sorry to hear that. UV? Do you mean UC? If she already has LCWRA ( if i remember correctly then she does) then no, she doesn't need to report this.For PIP no, not unless she has 12 months or less left to live. PIP isn't awarded based on a diagnosis. Therefore unless her health conditions have got worse and and can score more points needed for an award then there's nothing to report. Reporting changes means more forms and mostly likely another assessment.1

No, she doesn't need to tell UC because she can't have a higher award than LCWRA.
